On this Veterans' Day, I'm remembering those who sacrificed their lives for freedom, and I pray for the safe return of all the soldiers in Iraq.
(I do realize it marks the end of WWI, but...well, why not give thanks to all vets?).

We should never take the freedom we enjoy for granted. God bless all vets on this day.
True don't take Freedom for granted, and chocolate (with mint and also the orange flavored...dark of course, sometimes with brownies and oreos in it if it is in (wow check out all those "i" works lol) ice cream form) and Diet Coke which is MY drug of choice!
Naughty Molly is surely out of her box!
DO you like Mission and/or Seal Beach? Thought perhaps we could venture over there, or you come visit us on Coronado Island when we come that Saturday. What do you think?? My daughter would love yours and maybe play in the sand that morning. I also love shopping if that suits your fancy! HOW Girlie and typical woman of me to say!
Have a great weekend!
Molly!
I'm TRYING to be serious and RESPECTFUL here, jeesh!
Chocolate? Did someone mention chocolate? My hubbie brought back Lindt dark and milk chocolate from Austria for me last month. Um...3 huge bars of milk chocolate...gone in 2 days.
I don't like dark chocolate, unless I can sip some red wine. THAT'S a great combo.
But now I'm on the wagon. And on a diet...ARGH!!!!!!!!! Help!!!
Life is not pretty when Sue is in deprivation mode.
Why am I an all or nothing kinda gal???!!!
Sue,
Please don't think that I was offended at all, I am a very difficult person to offend! :)
I've been a bit out of it since Friday, really, and spent some time with some people close to me to sort my head out. I am feeling much better now.
Actually, I find the question of drunkiness and writing to be really interesting. ("writing" can also be replaces with "art" or "music" or "acting" and it is the same thing)
I don't think it's a prerequisit of writing to drink. I think that the type of personality that has a need to create also has a need to self-destruct. It is interesting that creation seems to need destruction of something to be complete. We create our art and destroy ourselves.
I'm flattered that you enjoy my writing. Thankyou, also, for your support. Day 4, that's marvelous! Especially over the weekend! I'll try and keep it up this week, that's my goal, to get through one week at a time.
We are all "all or nothing" people. Nothing is ever easy, is it?
Jack
I LOVE Lindt Dark Chocolate!
Are you just the naughty one today trying to tempt me! BAD BAD BAD!
Concert was super fun and super cool and just SUPER Douper!
Woohoo Sue!
I'm day two of sobriety, not feeling great, but still happy about my productivity levels. How is it going with you?
Jack
