When in doubt...improvise

My daughter has been taking a voice class amd they're learning Christmas songs. Pretty lame songs (not just carols), so she quit, and I can't say I blame her.
I can do a better job than that boring old teacher. (I'm so humble!).
We sing alot in the car, and one day she was asking me about the lyrics to "O Come O Ye Faithful," so I taught her. A few days later I hear her sing: "Come, let me hold him, born the King of Angels." (Instead of "Come and behold him..."). An honest mistake! I mean who "beholds" anyone these days anyway? And when you see a baby, well, of course, you wanna hold him...

I think that's cute, and I could see why she came up with that! And actually, it's not the same thing but it kind of is, like you said. When people "behold" a baby they wind up wanting to hold him anyway.
So it should/would have actually been the next natural progression in the song, really. :)

Thank You Sue. That's so cool that you got a hand written note and a Xmas card from the man himself.

I'd appreciate any info on Tinnitis treatments you may have. I'd heard Ginko helped, but wasn't familiar with that other one you mentioned.

Sue,

That is so sweet. I still like the misheard lyric for Blowing in the Wind:
"The ants are my friends, they're blowing in the wind..."
Still drinking tea and not booze! How are you doing?

:)

Gary- the info is coming! CoQ10 helps with energy production in the cells...that's all I know. It's good for the heart too, so maybe it helps with circulation.
Jack- I LOVE the Blowin' in the Wind lyrics! Must pass that on to my Dylan lovin (worshipping) friends!
I am doing fantastic - so glad you are too. Every day gets better and better. I feel wonderful. I think I may be manic though! (I'm not kidding!).

Love to Anjoli!!

ha! another one: tonight she asked for Chicken Cordon Bleh! (Well she was close).
No I do not make it from scratch...
If I did, it probably would be "BLEH!"

Sue,

Ah, now "chicken cordon bleh" would be excellent if it was said like Inspector Clouseu.

Got some of that tea, it's doing wonders, ta!

http://www.kissthisguy.com/ This is a funny site for misunderstood lyrics. At least it is not as bad as the little pre-school girls I heard singing Gwen Stefani. It sounded much dirtier when they sang, "I ain't no hole in back girl." ACK!
