I came here
Thinking I would "get away from it all"
But there's one little hitch
You see
No matter how hard I try
I can never seem to get away
From me.
Edit: Aplogies to Jackson Browne...I think I plagarized - unitentionally of course! He wrote: "no matter how fast I run, I can never seem to get away from me." I don't remember which song that's from though.

Hi Sue,
I stopped by earlier today. But, blogger wouldn't allow me to leave a message!? It's weird. I can't get to Maria's blog. Well, I get there, then I get a spinning mouse, and I cannot scroll down. If I had patience, or time, I'm sure I could eventually get in.
Anyhow, I enjoy your stories of your life in Tapei. Blogging is weird. Pete says anything that keeps you away from your real life is a little like having an imaginary friend. Blogging feels like that, like I have imaginary friends. I'm not going to make excuses though, cause I enjoy the reparte that I have with other bloggers. And, it really doesn't take that much time out of my day. Really! ;)
Well, you can't escape yourself, can you?
Hope all is well, and you are still enjoying your new haircuts!
ME, the other Sue
oops, spelled Taipei wrong. Did I do it again?
Oh I'm glad you're enjoying my little adventures Sue! Thanks so much.
I was a little hormonal yesterday...life is much brighter today after working out (after many months!).
I also read a bit of Walt Whitman's "Song of Myself." That always cheers me up. What a guy he was...I'm such a dork. Oh well! Whatever works, right?
I agree about w/you about blogging. I love my "imaginary friends" too!
Looks like blogger's been on the fritz today. Hope it's better soon!!
Hi Sue,
Wake-up! Hahaha.
All nighter? Sheesh. Better get you a cup of coffee.
Yeah! ITA. See you there.
Yup! Where you are is where your at for sure. Although a change of scene is always good for the soul.
Peace, love and light...and all that jazz,
Ric
Hey Sue,
Yup, the new restaurant should be up and running by May. My husband has 20 years experience in the business, this is a fast, casual, absentee owner type of deal. But, my husband cannot play hard and not work hard, so, we won't be seeing much of him. Unless we are hungry of course!
Watching as much of loop now. Amazing music. I loved it when Pete couldn't remember the words to Hang On To. Hey, perhaps I should sit in the front row of all his shows, so that I can "mouth" all the words... he he
