Oh my goodness. Take a look at this crazy garden the kids planted! (For a back story, please click HERE).
My daughter and her friends planted all kinds of seeds - watermelon, pumpkin (I think), radish, corn, sunflower, basil, green beans and wildflowers (that's all that I can recall!). They planted the seeds willy nilly...and didn't bother labeling them either. There's alot of merging of plants going on too, but, oh well...it's still pretty.
A neighbor just stopped by to compliment them on it, so I figured I better take some pics before we move overseas.
Pretty cool, ay?
THIS IS EITHER A PUMPKIN OR A WATERMELON...HMM...I THINK IT'S A PUMPKIN
GREEN BEANS!
CORN!

Honey I'm home!
I have so many stories including but not limited to: urban bunnies, 3am sunrises, a race of good looking healthy people, Swedish Poetry, and of course... RUFUS!
But all this must wait as I haven't slept in almost 48 hours and I can hear the land of nodd calling my name.
Love,
L
Now I'm a farmer
And I'm diggin diggin diggin......
It's alarming how charming it is to be a farming
How calming and balming the effect of the airrrrrrr......
pretty cool, yes!
But given what they did to that poor tree, I am pleasantly surprised that the kids didn't get grief for their garden!!
So good to hear your voice on my machine.....I will call you...we got home late and I was FRIED!!! Me and the hubby beached it.....La Dolce Vita!!
xo
I grew up cropping tobacco, corn, beans, etc.
Makes a fellow love a steak.
Wow, what a garden they have grown. The one picture look likes it is Zucchini. Great job for them.

xx
WOW!!
That is awesome.. Guess the veg!
Gees Sue, will it break their little hearts leaving it all? Will some things be ready before you guys leave!!
Hope to hear from you, I know you'll be crunched for time when you're out this way... but knowing you're in the area, I am sure I'll feel your good spirits (in case we don't get to go out and have one!)
much love and luck with the move.

Hi Suesjoy,
thanks for stopping on my blog. Nice pics. The third one is a zucchini. My mother had some in her garden. Some years ago we had so many and we ate every week only zuccini. Now I don't like them.
I saw the "Wire and Glass" mini opera in Oberhausen.
Hope you feel good.
All the best over the ocean.
Love and peace.
Stefan
The garden is about 3000 times bigger now!
I will post pics soon.
Oh - today.
We're leaving San Diego tomorrow!!
YIKES.
OK it IS a zucchini...not a pumpkin or a watermelon.
:)
Oh wow look at the garden, it looks simply amazing!
I so wish you would still be around in August, for I think we will come down then for a week or so.
I will call you sometime this weekend to catchup!
xx
