Happy Horrordaze!

This Santa is either wasted or deaf. Maybe a little of both!!!

Ok I feel just like this little girl. Christmas shouldn't scare me, but it does!
I need to send my presents and cards! Why does it always creep up on you?
I am not in the spirit at all. Something is just off about Christmas in California. It will never feel like Christmas to me, no matter how many lights or cheezy decorations I see (and in California, we only get the extra cheezy supreme decorations!).
I miss New England...alot.
Poor poor Sue in the 70 degree weather. (Actually, it's a chilly 64 degrees during the day now).
Once we get a tree, I'll be much more chipper, I think!

Well, have never seen a white Christmas, except the one with bing crosby, of course. That is what happens when you live in the south. I have been so busy with my daughter in the Nutcracker that I have nothing accomplished. Unfortunately, that is all going to have to wait another week because Sunday is my son's birthday. Oh, and get this...we are giving him a drum set.
We are officially insane. ;^)

Sue,

Oh yes. I think that's why we all run around wishing eachother a Merry this and a Happy that... we're all terrified of the season!

alianadrex - It's better than getting your son bagpipes! :P Seriously, though, get him enrolled in some lessons. It'll give him something to work toward and improve what you have to listen to!

Oh yes, that Santa does look like he'd been sipping a bit to keep warm what with having to travel everywhere in the sledge.

To me Christmas just doesn't feel like Christmas without snow. Snow and dark outside, all light, warmth, Christmas tree inside. Thankfully usually there's no lack of that in Finland. I remember only once or twice that it had been so warm weather that there wasn't proper snow in Christmas eve.

Sue,

Okay, I've finally got around to it, Syd, Bix, JellyRoll, and Mose are added to the list. Thanks for the suggestions. It's so hard to get them all!

Phew, Xmas is tiring.

Ok I am feeling more in the spirit today...probably because I gave (and received) presents today!
Today was my last day of work with my all-time favorite class. I was a bit teary saying goodbye.
It was bittersweet.

I do so love a white Christmas. When in LA I only spent one actual Christmas eve there and I was totally depressed! I thought I would be ok without driving in all the White stuff......NOPE! Missed it through and through. SO I make sure every year is filled with the stuff even though I curse it over and over. I guess there is just no pleasing me LOL. Kidding!
